Fred and Grace Hawes of Desert Cypress Trail Ranch, Wickenburg, have had a mining claim in the Wickenburg hills for many years. They do assessment work through each year and often during the year. These photos show them working at their claim. They find a little gold there. Fred taught gold panning during Wickenburg Gold Rush Day for several years. September 1975 |
